02 / why soft washing
High pressure water strips the protective surface off tiles, forces water under the laps, and spreads moss spores so it grows back faster. Soft washing treats the cause.
Force lifts the edge of tired tiles and creates repairs you did not have before the clean.
Pressure drives water under laps and into places rain would not normally reach.
Spores are spread across the roof instead of killed at the root.
Some tile makers exclude damage caused by high pressure washing. We avoid that route.
03 / process
Check the roof, gutters, safe access and the areas below before the method is agreed.
Sheet planting, isolate gutters where needed and set the exclusion zone before treatment starts.
Apply the treatment at low pressure so the product does the work, not force.
Rinse, clear debris, check the gutters and leave the site tidy.
