Who we are
A Star Decorators is a UK commercial decorating, spraying and restoration contractor. Our registered office and contact details are available on the contact page.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us through our contact form (name, email, phone, company, project type, message). We use it to respond to your enquiry. We also collect anonymous analytics about how the site is used.
Lawful basis
We process enquiry data under legitimate interests (responding to enquiries). Marketing emails (if you opt in) are processed under consent.
Advertising and conversion measurement
If you arrive from a Google advert, the landing web address may carry a Google Ads click identifier (a gclid, wbraid or gbraid value). Only if you accept advertising cookies do we store that identifier in your browser for up to 90 days and include it with your enquiry, so we can measure which advert led to your enquiry and report conversions to Google Ads.
The lawful basis for this is your consent (UK PECR and UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). This is a separate basis from the legitimate interests we rely on to handle the enquiry itself. You can withdraw consent at any time using the Cookie settings control in the footer. Withdrawal is prospective: it deletes the stored click identifier and stops any future collection, but it does not remove click identifiers already attached to enquiries you submitted before you withdrew. Retention
Enquiries are retained for 24 months by default. You can ask us to erase your enquiry at any time.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your personal data. Contact office@astardecorators.com.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
