A Star Decorators is a director-led commercial decorating, spraying and restoration contractor based in Poole. We work across the South of England and mobilise UK-wide on main-contractor frameworks.

Twenty years on live sites has taught us where main contractors actually need the help. Not on the easy floors. On the late variations, the overnight handovers, the moments where another trade has slipped and the decorator is the one expected to absorb it. That is the work we built the business around.

The operating model is a director led core team, Dulux Academy trained, with a network of trusted spray, restoration and DOFF specialists for the technical scopes. Tomas Nejedly, Managing Director and NVQ Level 6, authors and signs each project RAMS pack. Pawel Kalisiak leads operations, and Magdalena Kalisiak runs finance.

In 2026 we are on site or contracted across Primark, Tesco and M&S estates under Uplands Retail, R.G. Carter and Morris & Spottiswood. From Aberdare in South Wales to Stevenage and Hammersmith, work runs across the UK on rolling estate programmes and one off schemes.
