Warehouse and industrial coatings · Bath

Industrial coatings in Bath.

We coat warehouses without shutting them down. Walls, steelwork, high bays, one zone at a time, around your shifts. Intumescent protection on structural steel where the fire rating needs it. Delivered across Bath and Somerset. Facade cleaning, frame restoration and commercial decorating across Bath. A World Heritage city of Bath stone and listed Georgian frontages means heritage-safe methods come first. DOFF steam cleaning over pressure, sympathetic finishes, and restoration before replacement on period metalwork and shopfronts.

Why Bath

Why choose us for warehouse and industrial coatings in Bath and Somerset.

Track record

  • Live-site delivery. Racking stays in place, operations continue around us
  • Intumescent system application with manufacturer certificate at handover
  • Per-zone handover and record, not a single sign-off at the end of the job

Right fit when

  • The site needs to keep operating throughout. Shutting down is not an option.
  • Structural steelwork needs intumescent protection or a specialist two-pack system.
  • Access spans high bay, racking and overhead conveyors where standard ladders won't reach.

Bath programme

How we run warehouse and industrial coatings schemes locally.

  1. 01 · Survey

Live-site walk with FM: agree zones, shift pattern and exclusion-zone boundaries. Capture steel condition (corrosion grade, existing coating system, intumescent requirement). Access method confirmed per bay.

  2. 02 · Specification

System per zone and steel type: anti-corrosion epoxy primer and polyurethane topcoat for structural steel; intumescent system where fire rating is required (with third-party certification); single-coat refresh for non-structural surfaces. MEWP or scaffold specified to bay height.

  3. 03 · RAMS

Per-zone RAMS covering racking interaction (working over vs. working around), MEWP safe working plan, emergency evacuation with FM, COSHH for two-pack catalysts, ATEX declaration if zone applies.

  4. 04 · Delivery

Zone-by-zone delivery. Each zone is returned to live operations before the next opens. Forklift aisles not shared mid-coat. Shift timing agreed with FM weekly.

  5. 05 · Handover

Per-zone record, film thickness readings, intumescent certificate where the system warrants it. FM sign-off before each zone returns to full operation.

Frequently asked · Bath

What clients in Bath usually ask first.

Is your cleaning safe for Bath stone and listed facades?
Yes. DOFF superheated steam at low pressure lifts soiling without abrading the stone. We sample-clean a test area and agree the method before touching the elevation.
Do you work in the conservation area and on listed buildings?
Regularly. We work to the substrate and the consent conditions, and flag anything that needs listed-building or planning sign-off before we start.
Can you match heritage colours on shopfronts?
Yes. We identify the existing colour and apply a matched RAL or BS finish, restoring period metalwork rather than replacing it where the substrate is sound.
Can the warehouse keep operating throughout?
Yes. The whole programme uses zonal delivery so live operations continue around us. Active aisles and adjacent zones stay open.
Do you certify intumescent work?
Yes. When we apply an approved intumescent system, the manufacturer's certificate ships with the handover record.
What about ATEX zones?
We work in ATEX zones with appropriate kit, method statement and relevant permit-to-work. This is flagged and planned at survey.
What happens to the racking?
Racking stays in place. We work around it or use MEWPs to reach over. Any racking movement is the FM's decision and is priced separately.
Can forklifts still run during application?
Not in the active zone. We coordinate the exclusion schedule with the FM so forklift routes are maintained in adjacent zones throughout.
