How we run tor coatings schemes locally.

1. 01 · Survey

   Roof walk with moisture meter readings across the substrate, substrate-type confirmation (felt, single-ply, asphalt, metal profile), condition record and photo log. Access and edge-protection requirement assessed.

2. 02 · Specification

   TOR system selected to match substrate type and target warranty life (10, 15 or 20 years available). Primer and topcoat rates specified to manufacturer's data sheet. Weather window requirements noted.

3. 03 · RAMS

   Project-specific RAMS including edge protection method, MEWP or scaffold access plan, weather-window restrictions, lone-working procedure for roof access, and COSHH.

4. 04 · Delivery

   Clean substrate, treat any standing-water areas, apply primer at specified rate, apply TOR topcoat in system-defined passes. No application outside the temperature or humidity window.

5. 05 · Handover

   Warranty registration with manufacturer, as-applied record (product batch, application rates, weather conditions), before/after photo record.

How long does it take to cure?

Most systems are weather-resistant within hours and fully cured within a week. We plan around the forecast. Application won't happen outside the temperature or dew-point window.

Can it be applied in winter?

Yes, within the system's temperature range. Some systems need minimum 5°C and rising; we won't apply outside the manufacturer's spec regardless of programme pressure.
