Facade cleaning: DOFF, TORC and jet wash · Dorchester
DOFF superheated steam, TORC gentle abrasive, chemical, jet wash and soft wash cleaning for facades, cladding and hard surfaces, and for residential exteriors: period brick, natural stone, patios, driveways and block paving. Method chosen to the substrate. Heritage safe is the default, not an upgrade, backed by the same RAMS and insurance we supply to main contractors. Delivered across Dorchester and Dorset. Dorchester is a county town of warm Portland and brick terraces, Victorian villas around the Borough Gardens, and the older cob and rendered cottages you find as you move out towards Poundbury and the surrounding villages. We decorate homes across all of it, from sash window repaints on a period frontage to fresh interior schemes in a Poundbury townhouse. Much of the local housing stock is solid walled and exposed to driving rain off the chalk downs, so exterior masonry and joinery need a coating system chosen for the substrate rather than a single off the shelf answer. Inside, we work room by room so the rest of the house stays liveable while we are there. Every job starts with a proper look at the property and a clear written quote, so you know the scope and the cost before anything begins. We carry £10m Employers' Liability and £5m Public Liability, and our painters are Dulux Academy Trained. We finish under a no-snag handover policy, with every area inspected and signed off before we hand the room back to you.

Dorchester programme
Substrate type confirmed (stone, brick, render, cladding), soiling type assessed (atmospheric, biological, paint, soot), test area agreed with client. Pressure or steam method confirmed before any work begins.
DOFF steam for heritage or sensitive substrates; TORC gentle abrasive where carbon sulphation, ingrained staining, paint or limescale will not shift with steam alone; chemical biocide for biological growth; jet wash for hard surfaces where pressure won't damage; softwash where pressure and chemistry both need controlling. Run off pH and disposal route set out.
RAMS written for the project: chemical handling, PPE matrix, run off containment plan, exclusion zones during application, pedestrian and vehicle protection. COSHH for any biocide or neutraliser.
Containment bunded, test area cleaned and signed off by client, full application by elevation. Neutraliser applied where chemical spec calls for it. Public access protected throughout.
Before/after photo record, cleaning record (method, products, pH readings where relevant), condition note if coating or restoration work is to follow.
